Besonders in digitalen Zeiten, wo ein Metaversum das Soziale ersetzen soll und KIs Aufsätze verfassen, ist es umso mehr notwendig eine Plattform des persönlichen Austauschs anzubieten. Dafür wollen wir uns auf eine nachhaltige Kommunikation fokussieren: das Schreiben.
About "Looking for a Penfriend"
"Looking for a PenFriend" ist ein Projekt im Rahmen des Kunst- und Kulturfestivals Ortstermin 23 in Moabit. Die Veranstaltung findet am Sonntag den 03.09.23 ab 14Uhr statt und ist kostenfrei zugänglich.

Der Nachmittag umfasst eine Ausstellung mit Briefen und Postkarten, sowie künstlerische Auseinandersetzungen zum Thema Brieffreundschaft. Die Hauptattraktion wird eine Brieffreund*innen Börse sein, wo per Zufall Brieffreundschaften geschlossen werden können. Um die Angst vorm leeren Blatt zu verlieren unterstützt ein Schreibworkshop beim verfassen, des Briefes. Untermalt wird das Event von zwei DJs. Und gegen den Durst gibt es Getränke gegen Spende.
"Looking for a PenFriend" is a project within the framework of the Art- and Culturefestival Ortstermin 23 in Moabit. The event takes place on Sunday the 3d of August 2023 from 2 pm and is accessible free of charge.
The afternoon includes an exhibition with letters and postcards, as well as artistic discussions on the topic of pen friendship. The main attraction will be a penfriend exchange, where you can make pen friendships per chance. To lose the fear of an empty sheet, a writing workshop assists in writing the letter. The event is supported by two DJs. And against thirst there are drinks for donation.
About Us
We, Dana and Elisabeth, study cultural work at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. This resulted in a shared passion for cultural events. Both have already implemented various projects.
Wir, Dana und Elisabeth, studieren Kulturarbeit an der Fachhochschule Potsdam. Daraus folgend entstand die gemeinsame Leidenschaft für kulturelle Veranstaltungen. Beide haben bereits diverse Projekte umgesetzt.
For example, Dana Schneider successfully freed roads from cars by bringing cultural projects to the streets of Stuttgart with Parklet Initiative Tilia e.V. In her job at Urbane Praxis e.V. she is now pleading for climate-friendly and social urban design in Berlin.
So hat Dana Schneider beispielsweise erfolgreich Straßen von Autos befreit, indem sie mit Parklet Initiative Tilia e.V. kulturelle Projekte auf die Straßen Stuttgarts gebracht hat. In ihrem Job bei Urbane Praxis e.V. setzt sie sich nun für eine klimagerechte und soziale Stadtgestaltung in Berlin ein.
Elisabeth Knoblich, on the other hand, has been publishing the FLUT Magazin für gegenwärtige Erotik for five years now, which also links the successful establishment of a non-profit association Initiative für erotische Aufregung e.V. and various cultural events. Furthermore, she is part of the Lichtblick-Kino. It is a cinema in Berlin, which has a political focus and offers a platform for exchange and discussions with filmmakers and activists.
Elisabeth Knoblich hingegen publiziert seit bereits fünf Jahren das FLUT Magazin für gegenwärtige Erotik, womit auch die erfolgreiche Gründung eines gemeinnützigen Vereins Initiative für erotische Aufregung e.V. und diverse Kulturveranstaltungen zusammenhängen. Des Weiteren ist sie Teil des Lichtblick-Kinos in Berlin, welches einen politischen Fokus hat und eine Plattform für Austausch und Diskussionen mit Filmschaffenden und Aktivist*innen bietet.
